The Team Behind the Vision
The St Mark Homes Plc team is headed by a talented group of executives and directors with vast experience in the construction industry. That experience embraces design, on-site and off-site construction, equity loans and project financing, property sales, marketing, and management.
The accumulated expertise of our staff acquired over many years is aggregated at c600 years and it places St Mark Homes Plc on the forefront of commercial and residential construction in London and the South East of the United Kingdom.

Bernard Jos. Tansey
Bernard’s accomplishments as University Lecturer, Consulting Engineer and in the Public Service, Construction, Property Development and the in Third World are widely valued. He was Knighted (KCSG) by Pope St. John Paul II in 2002 for services pro Ecclesia et Homines; and later (KHS) in 2015.

Sean Ryan
Sean is a Chartered Certified Accountant. After graduation from Queens he trained with Grant Thornton in Belfast before moving to London in the late 1980s. He completed a Masters in Property Development in 1993 and has been working in the construction and property development sector since then.

Barry Tansey
A chartered accountant, Barry joined St Marks from Grant Thornton LLP, one of the World’s leading practices, in 1996 as Finance Director and was appointed as Group CEO in 2004. He is responsible for formulating and driving business strategy and development across the Group.

John Connolly
John joined the St Mark Board in June 2015 as A Non-Executive Director and is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers.
He was a senior member of Natwest/RBS for over 30-years experience with a final role as manager within the Central London Real Estate division before leaving the company.

Bill Gair
Bill, a Freeman of the City of London with a 35-year background in property development and strategic planning. Bill has served as Managing Director at Bovis, Barratt & Wates. Bill is a Council Member of NHBC and served as National President of the House Builders Federation 2000-02.
